Mazari
In the city of Yazd built in adobe (mud bricks and straw), defined as "the bride of the desert", an ancient and almost unchanged activity has continued for over 700 years ... that of the Mazari, "the millers" of henna. The ancient stone mills, once pulled by donkeys, are still used to grind henna leaves. The centuries-old processing technique is particularly appreciated by the Arab countries to which most of this green powder is destined used for dyeing women's hair.
