INDONESIA - Siberut

October -2019. It takes 5 hours by fast ferry from Padang, the capital of the Indonesian island of Sumatra, to cross the 120 km stretch of ocean that separates it from the island of Siberut. Then 2 hours by motor canoe going up one of the internal rivers of the island and other two hours of walking through the wild forest to reach one of the clans residing in the deep jungle, where an almost primitive tribe lives, the Mentawai.
